Transparency and Accountability sit at the core of EAZ's organisational identity. We are committed to the highest standards of financial governance, programme reporting, and stakeholder communication.
EAZ publishes annual performance reports, undergoes independent external evaluations, and maintains open communication with all funders, government partners, and communities we serve.
Youth CommitmentEAZ is uniquely committed to ensuring that children and young people are not just programme beneficiaries, but active participants and change agents. We apply an Eco-systemic Child Rights Approach that recognises young Zambians as rights-holders in environmental decision-making.
No One Left BehindEAZ maintains a Zero Tolerance policy toward exploitation or harm of vulnerable individuals. All programme staff and volunteers undergo mandatory safeguarding training and background screening.
EAZ is committed to gender mainstreaming across all four strategic pillars. We actively promote women’s leadership in environmental action groups and ensure gender-disaggregated data collection in all M&E processes.
EAZ recognises Persons with Disabilities as active agents of change in environmental stewardship. Our programming actively includes PWDs as participants and beneficiaries, aligned to the Zambia Disability Act.
EAZ embeds these commitments in every programme, partnership, and community interaction.
